MSU Healthteam Clinic Walks For Cystic Fibrosis

Three members of seven-member team Spartan Spirit laced up their walking shoes for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Lansing walk on June 6, 2015. Spartan Spirit included members of MSU HealthTeam’s Pediatric and Specialty Care: Team Captain Jaime Lee, Jamie Fitzgerald, Wendy Bouck, Alpa Sidhu, MD, Sheila Saliganan, Beth Heyboer, Margarita Sanchez, and manager, Susan Lee. These Spartans have a personal interest in the walk since they staff the cystic fibrosis and genetic clinics within Pediatric and Specialty Care.
The event was a 5K held at Hawk Island Park in Lansing. So far, Spartan Spirit has raised $1,155 toward their goal of $2,000. Great Stridesis the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event.
